IFE qualifications

Construction is an industry with many roles that are hard to pick up without practical on-the-job learning. It is also a constantly evolving sector and the importance of keeping up to date with regulations, products and trends is always apparent.

Within Fire Protection, the qualifications developed by the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) are the key credentials for those working on and managing passive fire protection projects.

In the latest round of examinations, our very own Deividas Jocys and Tudor Casian attained their IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection.

Managing surveys, Tudor utilises the learning to enable clients to address compliance issues on a daily basis. As Quality Contracts Manager, Deividas is at the forefront of delivering projects for clients with many stakeholders in the process. In the words of Passive Fire Protection Manager Steve Patterson, “the competence and experience our staff bring with their commitment to continuous improvement is a great asset to Golden Thread and our clients.”

As the fire protection sector continues to evolve through legislative and product systems changes, Golden Thread Fire Delay is here with a full range of passive fire protection services.
