Golden Thread Fire Delay is now an Employee Owned Trust!

Nov 25, 2022

Golden Thread Fire Delay is proud to announce an exciting new development in our journey.

On 25.11.22 the company transitioned to become an Employee Ownership Trust, providing a motivational platform from which we will grow, innovate and flourish.

Golden Thread Fire Delay is now an Employee Owned Trust!Employee ownership aligns everyone in the company, from top to bottom, to the vision of providing excellent service to our clients, because we know that is how we will be successful. Crucially, this model recognises that everyone within the company is instrumental in ensuring the success of the business and therefore should have a share in that success.

We believe that the commitment and attitude of employees is directly linked to the maximum value that can be delivered to customers, which is why we have chosen this ownership route. Success is not due just to the work of a few individuals, but to the collective efforts and contribution of all employees and the success of a team willing to go ‘above and beyond’, exponentially exceeds that which can be achieved by people ‘just doing their jobs’.

It will help us to continue to recruit the brightest and best employees going forward; again, a benefit that will filter through to our clients, with staff more likely to stay with the company for a long time, ensuring we retain a committed and talented team into the future.

As stated by Managing Director Sem Kneeshaw: “The success of the company so far is down to our loyal and hardworking team, so it was an easy decision to transfer the company over to them. Seeing the business continue to thrive and safeguarding our employees future whilst retaining the vision and culture of the business is incredibly important to Alan and I, along with looking after our clients into the future. This transaction works for everyone, the founders, the company, the employees and our clients, and with the transition begins an exciting new era”.
